He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Bish and Ada Van Dyke Bish; his wife Marjorie Cruikshank Bish; and his siblings, Bernice, Gertrude, Anna Belle, Jennings, Blair, Martha and Marjorie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
