He was predeceased by: his parents, Saverio Scarpelli and Aurelia Scarpelli (Brogno); his wives, Antoinette Scarpelli (Groccia) and Barbara; and his son-in-law David.
He is survived by: his daughter Aurelia DeAngelis; his stepson Mark McLeod; his daughter-in-law Coleen; and his grandchildren, David J. (Allie), Antonella DeAngelis, Michael (Christina), Marcus, Mitchell McLeod and Elizabeth Hall (Andrew). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
