In the sacred silence of farewell, Alice is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Alice's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Nichols and Irene Nichols (Lynch); her husband Rulph; and her sister Jean Garrow. She is survived by: her brother David Nichols; and her children, Andrew Chassaing (Lilia) and Chloe Chassaing (Camilo Viveiros). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their children.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Perry-McStay Funeral Home (2555 Pawtucket Ave, East Providence, RI 02914). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Historiical Chapel at Swan Point Cemetery (585 Blackstone Blvd, Providence, RI 02906).
