He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Azevedo and Maria Azevedo; and his siblings, Sofia Silva, Artur Azevedo, Lillian Bergantim and Teresa Rodrigues.
He is survived by: his spouse Margarida Azevedo (Silva); his sons, Luis M. Azevedo (Heather (Lass) Azevedo) of Riverside, RI and Frank Azevedo (Stacey (Couitt) Azevedo) of Barrington, RI; his grandsons, Tyler Azevedo, Andrew Azevedo, Nathan Azevedo and Matthew Azevedo; and his siblings, Fernanda Vieira, Jamie Azevedo, Oliver Azevedo, Alvaro Azevedo, Manuela DeMelo and Rosa Farizo. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sansone Funeral Home (192 Wood St, Bristol, RI 02809). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth's Church (577 Wood St, Bristol, RI 02809).
