We are sad to announce that, on April 8, 2026, at the age of 83, Professor Chung-I Tan of Barrington, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Corinne Tan; his children, Jessica Tan and Michael Tan (Ann); his granddaughters, Madelyn and Chloe; his siblings, Chung-Jen Tan (Lorrain) and Shirley Lian (Ming-Shih); his nephews, Christopher, Stephen and Jeffrey; his niece Serena; and his parents, Teh-Hsing Tan and Chung-Ying Hsu.
