She was predeceased by: her husband David F. Ritchie; her parents, Virginia Gronefeld and Stephen Francia; and her brothers, Stephen Michael Francia, Robert Francia and Fred Francia.
She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Buckley (Jay), Susan Custer (Dan) and David Ritchie (Lucy); her grandchildren, Sarah Buckley, Matthew Buckley, Daniel Custer, David Custer, Katelyn Ritchie, Kendra Ritchie, Kylie Ritchie and David Ritchie (Mackenzie); her great grandchildren, Josiah, Justyce, Estella and Elias; and her siblings, Carol Jean Wolford, Chris Francia and Ed Francia.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Barrington Congregational Church (461 County Rd, Barrington, RI 02806).
Donations to Tockwotton on the Waterfront (Tockwotton on the Waterfront, 500 Waterfront Drive East Providence, RI 02914), in memory of Sharon Ritichie, will be greatly appreciated as a way of expressing gratitude for the loving kindness showered upon our mother.
