She was predeceased by: her parents, Beatrice Luella Hazard (Wood) and Albert Nelson Hazard; and her brother James A. Hazard. She is survived by: her husband Vincent J. McAloon; her daughters, Kerrie McAloon (late Rob Weintraub), Shannon McAloon Merkler (Bill), Meredith Barber (Robert) and Kathleen McAloon; and her grandchildren, Brendan, Megan, Erin, Ryan and Olivia. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mary D. Fund or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, causes close to Meredith's heart.
