Anna M. Sousa Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 1, 2025, at the age of 90, Anna M. Sousa of Bristol, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph P. Sousa; her parents, Joseph Marshall and Philomena Marshall (Arrone); her brother Joseph Marshall (Janice); and her sister-in-law Maria C. Sousa.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Marie Goldwater (David) of New Zealand, Laura Hood (late Gary) of Smithfield, Joseph Sousa (Jane) of Warren and Anthony Sousa (Kristin) of Bristol; her grandchildren, Robert W. North (Amber), Scott J. North, Kimberly M. North (Ernest), Matthew J. Sousa and Katelyn R. Sousa; her great grandchild Deion Hazzard; her sister Betty Carlone (Richard) of Naples, FL; and her brother-in-law Anthony Sousa (Suzie) of Margate. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the George C. Lima Funeral Home (367 High St, Bristol, RI 02809). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth's Church (577 Wood St, Bristol, RI 02809). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Cemetery.
