He was predeceased by: his mother Maria of Jesus Leal; and his sister Sizalda Hanes. He is survived by: his wife Teresa A. Costa; his children, Christina Rufino (Steven) of Bristol, Anna Medeiros of Bristol, Elizabeth Costa of Bristol and Jason Costa (Alexa) of Pawtucket; his grandchildren, Kiana, Ethan, Leah, Anissa, Lucas and Haleigh; and his sister Lisete Camilo of Faial, Azores..
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the George C. Lima Funeral Home (367 High St, Bristol, RI 02809). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth's Church (577 Wood St, Bristol, RI 02809).
