He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jose Z. Machado and Maria Adelaide Machado (Medeiros); his daughters, Michelle L. Provencal of Attleboro, MA and Rachel L. Machado (John) of Warren, RI; his close friend Esmeralda Torres of Rehoboth, MA; his granddaughters, Kierstyn Provencal, Jaelynn Machado and Raegan; and his siblings, Bernadette Raposa (Manuel) of Fall River, MA, Dora Leal (John) of Fall River, MA, Victoria Hancock of Tequesta, FL, Paula Machado of Tequesta, FL, Lisa Machado (Julian) of Providence, RI and Joseph Machado. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the George C. Lima Funeral Home (367 High St, Bristol, RI 02809). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth's Church (577 Wood St, Bristol, RI 02809). A burial will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the North Burial Ground (1081 Hope St, Bristol, RI 02809).
