He is survived by: his spouse Zelia Garcia (Botelho); his children, Jose Garcia of Bristol, Rosemary Sousa (Paul) of Bristol and Sandra Garcia-Cummings of Riverside; and his grandchildren, Serena Sousa, Joseph Garcia, Christopher Sousa and Avery Garcia.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the George C. Lima Funeral Home (367 High St, Bristol, RI 02809). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth's Church (577 Wood St, Bristol, RI 02809). A burial was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Cemetery.
