He was predeceased by: his wife Mary M. Palumbo (Margie Castro); his parents, Leonardo Palumbo and Gaetana Palumbo (Piemontese); and his siblings, Phyllis Barboza, Antoinette Amaral, Mary DiPaolo, Virginia Sousa, Anna Oliver and Matthew Palumbo.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary Palumbo (Mary Lou) of East Falmouth, MA and Bruce Palumbo (Trisha) of Bristol; his granddaughters, Alison Jean Mello (Jon) and Alyssa Rose Palumbo; and his great grandchildren, Alaina James (David) and Julia Mello. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the George C. Lima Funeral Home (367 High St, Bristol, RI 02809). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth's Church (577 Wood St, Bristol, RI 02809). A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Cemetery.
