She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Stephen Boyd; her parents, Edward G. Poirier and Irma Patricia "Pat" Poirier (McDermott); her sons, Edmund Boyd of Sarasota and Raymond Boyd of Bristol; and her brothers, Edward Poirier of East Providence, Philip Poirier of Pawcatuck, Mark Poirier of East Providence and John Poirier of West Warwick. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
