He was predeceased by: his parents, Joao Silveira Moitoso and Luiza Correia; his siblings, Elmano Moitoso, Manuel Moitoso and Maria Luisa; his nieces, Elsa Ardito, Debra Toste and Noelia Moitoso; his nephew Luis; and his brothers-in-law, Fernando, Luis and Amilcar Tomas.
He is survived by: his siblings, Herbie (Sandy Moitoso), Roger Margues, Laura Tomas and Siva; and his sisters-in-law, Maria Moitoso and Lucia Moitoso. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the George C. Lima Funeral Home (367 High St, Bristol, RI 02809). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth's Church (577 Wood St, Bristol, RI 02809). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Cemetery.
