She was predeceased by: her husband Joao Raposo Almeida; and her parents, Joao Moniz Benevides and Carolina Germano. She is survived by: her children, Mary Almeida and John Almeida (Laura); her grandchildren, Magen Almeida and Morgan Almeida; her sister Connie Pinheiro of Barrington; her sibling-in-law Jorgina Benevides of Warren; her brothers, Joao Benevides Jr. and Gilberto Benevides; and her siblings-in-law, Lurdes Soares, Conceiçao Raposo, Deodata DeAlmeida, Ermelinda Raposo, Louisa DeAlmeida and Lilliana Paiva of Ontario, Canada.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
