Maria Faria Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2025, at the age of 79, Maria Faria of Bristol, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Fernando T. Faria; and her parents, Francisco S. Goncalves and Adelina Goncalves. She is survived by: her daughter Mary Lou DeAlmeida (Urbano) of Bristol; her grandchildren, Chelsea Carvalho (Corey) and Brian DeAlmeida (Danielle); and her siblings, Jose Goncalves (Adrianna) of Canada, Lucia De Melo (late Mariano) of Canada, Anjos Perreira (Jose Alfredo) of Rabo de Peixe, Azores and Gil Goncalves.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the George C. Lima Funeral Home (367 High St, Bristol, RI 02809). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth's Church (577 Wood St, Bristol, RI 02809). A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Cemetery.
