She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth A. "Ken" McVay; her parents, Donald Graves and Ruth E. Graves (Davis); and her sister Marjorie O'Rourke. She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Ruth Mathison (Scott) of Warren, Navy Captain Michael K. McVay (Debbie) of Carlsbad, CA and Mark H. McVay of Pawtucket; her sister June Braids (Ken); her grandchildren, Allison Aguilar (Marc), Lindsey McVay, Lydea Ruth Irwin, Marcel McVay and Maxwell McVay (Megan Bailey); her great grandchildren, Elijah, Abigail, Andrew, Daniel and Natalie Aguilar; and her sister Nancy Graves. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
