It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Chellel of Bristol, Rhode Island, who passed away on March 19, 2026, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Sandra's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Sandra has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Kay Anthony Lewis; and her parents, Edward F. Chellel and Cecelia G. Chellel (Brunelli). She is survived by: her sister Dianne Chellel Riley of Providence; her nephew Nathan Riley (Caitlin Soto); her great-nephew Oliver of Virginia; and her nephews, Spencer Riley of Germany and Cameron Riley of Florida.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute or the American Foundation for the Blind.
