He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Frances (Black); and his brother Jack. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Polacek (Lapierre) of Harrisville; his sister Kathy Tupper; his children, Richard (Nicole), Kristen Loesch (John) and Heather Kapushoc (Stephen); and his grandchildren, Kelsey, Jack, Quin, Lucian, Natalie, Hayden, Evan and Macey. He is also survived by his many in-laws, nieces and nephews, and his many friends.
He was a member of the Levy Foundation Scholarship Committee and the Assembly Board of Administration.
