It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willard J. Smith of Carolina, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on April 25, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Willard Smith and Helen Smith (Fagan); and his siblings, John Viselli and Marion St. Pierre. He is survived by : his wife Marcy Smith (Pointek); his children, Megan Barnett (John) and Kyle J. Smith; his grandchildren, Sophia and Micah Barnett; and his siblings, Christine Connor, Linda Williams, Susan Reilly and Mark Viselli.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (437 Carolina Back Rd, Charlestown, RI 02813). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
