It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris Mary George of Central Falls, Rhode Island, who passed away on July 5, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Robert E. George Sr.; her son Robert George, Jr.; and her parents, Karim Gabriel and Weeda Gabriel (Mousab). She is survived by: her children, Karen Dumaine of Marlborough and Mark George of Jupiter; her daughter-in-law Lisa; her grandchildren, Alexander, Marisa and Doris; and her siblings, Albert Gabriel (May), Ronald Gabriel (Carole) and Nancy Reed.

Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Ephraim's Syriac Orthodox Church (215 Washington St, Central Falls, RI 02863-2027). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at the Swan Point Cemetery (585 Blackstone Blvd, Providence, RI 02906).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be directed to St. Ephraim's Church or to her charities cited above.
