With sadness, we share the passing of Helena M. Majkut of Central Falls, Rhode Island. Helena, born on June 6, 1950, passed away on September 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Irena Szklanny; and her sibling Genowefa Grzywna (Solek). She is survived by: her children, Jan Majkut of South Attleboro, Bernarda Siwiec (Mariusz) of North Attleboro and Pawel Majkut of Central Falls; her siblings, Anna Klin of Poland, Stanislaw Solek of Poland and Jozef Solek of South Attleboro; her grandchildren, Katarzyna Dunstan of England, Magdalena Siwiec of Bellingham, MA, David Siwiec of New York, Adam Szklanny of Poland and Dzesika Kuras of Poland; and her great grandchildren, Vanessa, Otis, Zuzanna, Lucja and Aleksander. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home (757 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (391 High St, Central Falls, RI 02863).
