He was predeceased by: his siblings, Maria Cruzado and Steven Rodriguez. He is survived by: his spouse Yeida Liz Soto Mendez; his sons, Juan, Steven, Jonathan and Christopher; his grandson Steve; and his siblings, Ivonne Mendes (Doug), Ana Savageau and Emily St. Francis (Ronald).
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the William W. Tripp Funeral Home (1008 Newport Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02861). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at the North Burial Ground.
