He was predeceased by : his parents, Michael Tarasevich and Macrina Tarasevich (Shivilka); his former life partner Margret Mary Monahan; his son Michael Tarasevich, III; his grandson Matthew Fetzer; and his siblings, John and Jeana Tarasevich.

He is survived by : his brother Andrew of South Hampton, NY; his nieces and nephews, Jean Tarasevich of South Kingstown, Ellen Pearce (Jeff) of Richmond, Paul (Karen) of South Kingstown, Matthew of Hampton Beach, Ann Fetzer (Bill) of Bayville, NY and Mary Tarasevich of Charlestown; his grandchildren, Paul, Joseph Tarasevich, Margret, Olivia Fetzer, Lillian, Zeb and Willa Tarasevich; his great grandchildren, Teddy and Winston Njaa; and his wife Peg.
