She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Downes and Marion Downes (Kendrick); and her brother George Downes. She is survived by: her husband John F. Ball; her children, Laura Flavin and Peter Duhamel (Barbara Peck); her stepsons, Richard and David Berling; her grandchildren, Kyle (Taressa), Lucas Flavin (Abigail), Miles (Maggie) and Abigale Duhamel; and her sister Mary Ribeiro. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
