He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Dr. Margaret "Peg" Day (DiBiasio); his parents, Walter and Adeline Day (Young); his daughters, Kerstin Lochrie, Lauren Day and Jennifer Sweeney; his sons-in-law, Peter Lochrie, Mitchell Schneir and Michael Sweeney; and his grandchildren, Samantha, Jacob, Tucker Lochrie, Isabella Schneir, Connor and Mackenzie Sweeney.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Edward and Margaret Day Scholarship Fund at RI College or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
