She was predeceased by: her husband Francis G. "Frank" Emmons; her parents, Gustav H. Stenner and Phoebe M. Locke (Bergin); her daughter Frances E. Emmons; her sister Dorothy Barnes; and her granddaughter Angela Cady.

She is survived by: her children, Jay S. Emmons of The Villages, FL, Mark J. Emmons of Maine, Susan E. Caldarone of Chepachet and Sarah L. Emmons of East Providence; and her sisters, Phyllis Whitford of Sterling, CT and Nancy Kimball (Locke) of Michigan. She is also survived by Her family includes 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
