He is survived by : his parents, William Ballou and Trish Ballou; his siblings, Daisy, Robin, Destiny Ballou, Albert, Thomas, William, III, Joey and Ronnie Ballou; his sisters-in-law, Samantha Ballou, Samantha Cook, Jennifer Ballou, Kaylee Vincent and Emma Adamo; and his grandparents, Gail Ballou, Patricia Muller and Bob Gelinas. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Joseph to the Harmony Fire Department.
