In loving memory of Joseph Trinque Jr. of Chepachet, Rhode Island, who departed this world on October 9, 2025 at the age of 89. Joseph leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Trinque and Doris Trinque Sr. (Gillette); his daughter Rae-Anne Laprade; and his brother Raymond T. Trinque. He is survived by: his wife Janice Trinque (Whitman); his sons, Raymond Trinque (Susan) and Morris Merchant (Janice); his grandchildren, Patrick, Sean, Timothy, Jillian, Sadie and Wyatt; his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Rebecca and Alistiar; his sisters-in-law, Eleanor Trinque and Shirley Richard; and his son-in-law Mark Laprade. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc. (1496 Victory Hwy, Oakland, RI 02858). A prayer will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 88, 111 Chapel St., Harrisville, RI.
