It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred A. Arcand of Coventry, Rhode Island, who passed away on April 2, 2026, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred L. Arcand and Estelle Arcand (Plouffe); his son-in-law Jim Fink (Nicole Arcand); and his grandchildren, Elsa and Ludger Fink.
He is survived by: his wife Louise; his children, Louise, Dr. Michel Arcand (Dominique Poulin) of Chepachet, RI, Dr. Paul Arcand (Claudia) of Sutton, MA, Dr. Albert Arcand (Erica) of East Greenwich, RI, Dr. Helene Shea (Scott) of Rutland, MA, Dr. Denise Arcand (Greg Pettinella) of Ashburnham, MA and Dr. Nicole Arcand of Exeter, RI; his grandchildren, Dr. Christina Arcand, Jean-Michel, Pierre-Louis, Marc-Olivier, Paul-Hugo Arcand, Elizabeth, Nazaire, Gabrielle Arcand, Elle, Lily Arcand, Samantha, William Shea, Adalyn and Sydney Fink; his cousin Paul Lacroix; and his friend Gerard Gauvin.
