Arthur Pitt Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur Pitt of Coventry, Rhode Island, who passed away on October 10, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis M. Pitt and Edna Pitt (Wienberg); his wife Elaine A.; and his brother Thomas Pitt (Patricia Campbell). He is survived by: his children, Debra A. Smith (late Michael), Constance M. Carroll (Richard) and Michael A. Pitt; his brother Kenneth Pitt (late Jean); his grandchildren, Gregory, Zachary Smith, Thomas, Jack Carroll, Michael Jr. (Sarah) and Garrett Pitt; and his great grandchildren, Michael III and Roman Pitt.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the John & Paul Church (341 S Main St, Coventry, RI 02816). A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery (301 S County Trail, Exeter, RI 02822).
