He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Simmons and Pauline Simmons (Derouin); and his siblings, Steven Simmons and Paulette Whitman. He is survived by: his wife Mary Simmons (McGovern); his children, Mark Simmons (Danielle) of West Warwick and Thomas Simmons (Alicia) of Coventry; his grandchildren, James, Connor, Brayden and Amelia; and his siblings, Judith Gagnon of West Warwick, Jean Simmons of West Warwick and Bonnie Shon (Sam) of Huntington Beach, CA.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Iannotti Funeral Home (415 Washington St, Coventry, RI 02816). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony Church (1 Sunset Ave, West Warwick, RI 02893).
