She was predeceased by: her husband John L. Potter; her parents, William C. Schieldge and Jeannette Schieldge (Carlson); and her siblings, Joyce Clarence, Elaine Hockla and Robert Taylor.

She is survived by: her sons, Greg L. Potter (Shia) and Eric C. Potter (Bethany Moorehead); and her grandchildren, Zander Potter, Zaiden Potter, Skyy Potter, Violet Potter and Caleb Thibedeau. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
