He is survived by: his wife Carole Mello Johnston; his sons, Jeffrey (Filomena) and Scott; his grandchildren, Jenna, Joseph and Gian; his mother-in-law Juliette Mello; and his siblings-in-law, Wayne, Patricia Rebello and Nancy Hayes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
