With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy M. Rathbun (Coventry, Rhode Island), who passed away on June 19, 2025 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James A. Rathbun Sr.; her parents, Herbert LaPointe and Evelyn LaPointe (Johnson); her son Arthur A. Rathbun; and her siblings, Raymond LaPointe, Evelyn Newman, Helen Teft, Irene Lathrop, Gary LaPointe, Patricia DesRocher and John LaPointe.
She is survived by: her children, Karen L. Paul and James A. Rathbun Jr.; her siblings, Warren LaPointe and Denise Rawson; and her grandchildren, Christopher Paul, Michael Paul, Jason Rathbun and Jamie Lee Rathbun. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and many cherished nieces and nephews.
