He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra L. Silverman (Doughty); and his parents, Jack Silverman and Laura Silverman (McLeod). He is survived by: his children, David Silverman (Felice) of Arlington, MA., Steven Silverman (Lee) of North Providence, Luke and Lacey Silverman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Rhode Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RISPCA) would be appreciated.
