She was predeceased by: her mother Esther K. Cooke; and her husband Richard R. Johnstone. She is survived by: her children, Bernard D. Lessard (Elizabeth) of North Kingstown, Nanette D. Gallagher (Michael) of Coventry and David J. Lessard of South Kingstown; and her grandchildren, Marie, Cheyenne, Kathryn, Kristin, Amanda and Landin. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
