Irene Lillian Martin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Irene Lillian Martin of Coventry, Rhode Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 6, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Irene farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Irene is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Armand E. Martin; her parents, Leo Sylvester and Juliette Sylvester (Lambert); her son Raymond R. Martin; and her siblings, Rene Sylvester, Russell Sylvester and Annette Petit.
She is survived by: her grandson Joey; and her children, Wayne R. Martin (Sara) of Coventry, Susan R. Fagan (William) of Coventry and Donna L. Jacobs (Russell) of Higganum, CT. She is also survived by five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Iannotti Funeral Home (2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd, Coventry, RI 02816). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saints John & Paul Church (341 S Main St, Coventry, RI 02816).
