She was predeceased by: her husband Pat Ascoli; and her siblings, Frank Ruscio, Michael Ruscio, Tony Ruscio, Millie Perna, Lucy McGeoghegan and Jimmy Ruscio.

She is survived by: her children, Susan A. Mattie (Jay) of Cape Cod, MA, Patricia M. Bennett-Lauzon (Glen) of Winchendon, MA, Richard M. Ascoli (Charlene) of Coventry, RI and Robert J. Ascoli (Rebecca) of Quincy, MA.; and her grandchildren, Tommy Bennett, Derek Bennett, Chris Mattie, Jillian Warner, Alex Mattie, Danielle Ascoli, Kimberly Ascoli-O'Brien, Taylor Jackson, Jake Ascoli, Emma Ascoli and Lucas Ascoli. She is also survived by the fifth child of seven siblings.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her name, Jean Ascoli to either: Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, or, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
