He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph McFerran and Rose McFerran (Theroux); his sister Judy St. George (Roland); and his brother-in-law Richard Metivier (Natalie). He is survived by: his wife Judith McFerran; his siblings, Joan Cassidy (Frank), Wayne McFerran and Robert McFerran (Claudette Hunt); and his brother-in-law Dennis Metivier (Barbara).
