He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Rettenmyer and Aileen F. Rettenmyer (MacKay). He is survived by: his brother Paul S. Rettenmyer (Patricia J. Keenan) of Coventry; his nieces, Jessica A. Turner (Ben) and Hayley J. Rettenmyer; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Clayton and Coltan Turner.
