We announce the death of Joseph Cienava of Coventry, Rhode Island, who passed away on July 10, 2026, at the age of 92. Joseph will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Cienava and Martha Cienava (Kulasewski); and his sisters, Elizabeth J. "Betty" Salhany and Violet Glasser. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne C. Cienava (Dubuc); his children, Claire DiMaio (William) of North Kingstown, Michael J. Cienava (Sheila) of Warwick and Jane O'Hare (Timothy) of Attleboro, Massachusetts; and his grandchildren, Emily, Ryan, Meghan, Billy, Janelle, Michael II and Lauren. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
