He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth J. Smith and Eleanor J. Smith-Follett (Fleming). He is survived by: his wife Debra A. Smith (Hill); his sons, Gregory M. H. Smith of North Kingstown and Zachary R. H. Smith of North Kingstown; his brother Mark R. Smith (Karen); his siblings-in-law, Constance Carroll (Richard) and Michael Pitt; and his nieces and nephews, Kyle Smith, Shannon Smith-Kane, Thomas, Jack Carroll, Michael Jr. and Garrett Pitt.
