He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosario Volpe and Domenica Volpe (Testa); and his brother Robert Volpe. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Volpe (DelPonte); his sons, Michael Volpe (Diana), Brian Volpe and Richard D. Volpe, Jr. (Dina); and his grandchildren, Annabella Volpe and Connor Volpe.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home (600 Pontiac Ave, Cranston, RI 02910). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Apostles Church (800 Pippin Orchard Rd, Cranston, RI 02921).
