It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anne Marie (Mello) Mitchell of Cranston, Rhode Island, who passed away on May 2, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband George J. Mitchell; her parents, Manuel C. Mello and Anna Mello (Lonardo); her son Michael J. Mitchell; and her brother Manuel C. Mello, Jr..
She is survived by: her son David Mitchell (Laurie) of Cranston; her grandchildren, Alexander, Shannon, Alisha, Sarah, Joseph and Elijah Mitchell; her brother David Mello (Grace) of Cranston; and her husband Michael.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nardolillo Funeral Home (1278 Park Ave, Cranston, RI 02910). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 8:45 AM at the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory (1278 Park Ave, Cranston, RI 02910). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Apostles Church (800 Pippin Orchard Rd, Cranston, RI 02921).
