She was predeceased by: her former husband George J. Mitchell; her parents, Manuel C. Mello and Anna Mello (Lonardo); her son Michael J. Mitchell; and her brother Manuel C. Mello, Jr..
She is survived by: her son David Mitchell (Laurie) of Cranston; her grandchildren, Alexander, Shannon, Alisha, Sarah, Joseph and Elijah Mitchell; her brother David Mello (Grace) of Cranston; and her husband Michael.
