He was predeceased by: his wife Angela Coppola (Matarese); his parents, Arthur N. Coppola and Victoria Coppola (Jacobellis); his brother Rudolph Coppola; and his nephews, Arthur Coppola (Arturo) and James McCarthy Jr..
He is survived by: his sister Beatrice McCarthy; his sister-in-law Norma Kacen; his sibling's children, Marilyn Coppola, Debra Coppola, Maureen Fogarty, Karen Musumeci and Michael Coppola; and his cousin Joseph Abbate. He is also survived by seven great nieces and nephews, five great-great nieces and nephews.
