He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Jacobson (Lombardo); his parents, Samuel Jacobson and Rebecca Jacobson (Shapiro); and his siblings, Sydney, Bertha and Donald Jacobson.

He is survived by: his children, Linda Jacobson (James E. Myers) of North Kingstown and Gregory Samuel Jacobson (Evelyn) of Johnston; his grandchildren, Gregory Samuel Jacobson, Jr. (Kelly Carroccio) of East Greenwich and Rebecca Marie De Jesus (Gary) of Johnston; and his great grandchild Gemma Marie De Jesus. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sugarman-Sinai Memorial Chapel (458 Hope St, Providence, RI 02906).
