He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Cotton and Dorothy Cotton (Howarth); and his brother Robert Cotton. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Cotton (Brewster); his daughter Dawn Adams (Kenneth) of Cranston; his grandchildren, Jenna Sczerbinski (Ryan) of Cranston and Tori McDermott (Danny) of Coventry; his great grandchildren, Alfonso Fraga Jr., Lilliana Tsoumakas, Colson McDermott and Skyla Sczerbinski; his sister Donna Searson (Michael) of Virginia; and his niece Kimberly LaFontaine Ficaro (John) of Virginia.
