She was predeceased by: her husband Richard J. Gainor; and her parents, Norman Bannon and Mary Bannon (Lynch). She is survived by: her children, Edward of Amherst, NH, Thomas (Nery) of Plantation, FL, Kathleen of Conway, NH and Richard (Susan) of Cranston; her grandchildren, Rachel, Laura, Kristen and Joseph; her great grandchild Luna; and her friends, Joyce Cavanaugh, Dr. Pat (Feinstein), Sandra Johnson, Dr. Mohammed Abiri, Fran Phillips and Ed Walton.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jones-Walton-Sheridan Funeral Home (1895 Broad St, Cranston, RI 02905). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Church (1 Warwick Ave, Cranston, RI 02905). A burial will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Ri Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul's Church.
