He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alfred Kondvar of Nitra and Ruth Kondvar (Freelove) of Cranston, RI.; his children, Erin Lynn Kondvar of Warwick, RI and Stephanie Ruth Gray (Paul) of Hooksett, NH; and his sister Karen Kondvar Nelson (Robert) of Warwick. He was also cherished by two nieces, their husbands, and three children.
During the pandemic, he volunteered at COVID vaccination sites.
